Returns, Refunds & Order Policies

At Grillo Services, many of the products we sell are bulk materials, delivered products, or scheduled services. Because of that, our return and refund policies are different than a typical retail store. Please review the policy below before placing an order.

Bulk Materials

Bulk materials include, but are not limited to, topsoil, compost, mulch, sand, stone, processed aggregate, salt, garden mix, and other loose materials sold by the yard.

All bulk material sales are final once the order has been delivered, dumped, loaded for pickup, or taken from our yard.

Because bulk materials are loose products and are typically dumped on site or loaded directly into a customer’s vehicle or trailer, they cannot be returned, restocked, or resold after delivery or pickup. Customers are responsible for ordering the correct material and quantity before completing the order.

Bagged Products, Seed, Fertilizer, Fabric & Other Packaged Goods

Bagged or packaged products may be eligible for return only if they are unopened, unused, in original condition, and returned within 14 days of purchase.

Returned items must be accompanied by proof of purchase and approved by Grillo Services before a refund is issued. Products that have been opened, partially used, damaged after delivery, exposed to weather, or stored improperly are not eligible for return.

Special-order items, clearance items, and seasonal products may be non-returnable.

Firewood

Firewood sales are final once delivered or picked up. Because firewood is a natural product and handling conditions vary after delivery, it cannot be returned once it has been unloaded or removed from our yard.

Dumpster Rentals & Scheduled Services

Dumpster rentals and other scheduled services are time-based service bookings, not standard shippable retail products.

Orders for dumpster rentals and scheduled services are generally non-returnable once the service has been scheduled, dispatched, delivered, or performed.

If a customer needs to cancel or reschedule a dumpster rental or other service order, they must contact Grillo Services as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but cancellation fees or partial charges may apply if equipment, labor, or trucking has already been scheduled or dispatched. Delivery Orders

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information, including the correct address, access instructions, and safe dumping or unloading location.

If a delivery cannot be completed because of incorrect information, blocked access, unsafe conditions, customer absence when required, or inability to dump or unload safely, additional delivery charges, return-trip charges, or restocking fees may apply where applicable.

Incorrect, Missing, or Damaged Orders

If there is a problem with your order, such as the wrong product, missing product, or visible delivery issue, you must notify Grillo Services within 24 hours of delivery or pickup.

We may request photos, order details, and a description of the issue so we can review the situation quickly. Claims made after that window may be denied, especially for materials that have already been spread, moved, mixed, or used.

Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will be issued back to the original payment method. Please allow up to 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or credit card provider.

Approved refunds may be reduced by applicable delivery charges, pickup costs, processing fees, or restocking charges where appropriate.

Order Approval & Discretion

Grillo Services reserves the right to review any return, refund, delivery issue, or order dispute on a case-by-case basis. We also reserve the right to refuse returns or refunds that do not meet the conditions of this policy.
